Default Anyone running the Strat HyperBoost Valves? Comments?

I am currently looking at getting a set of valves and the hyperboost valves look nice. Compared to bailey or forge how do these compare?

Thanks

Default i'd take them over bailey or forge...although forge is fine, the hyperboost just

improved on it a tad.

I'm thinking about adding another groove to my Forge's for another o-ring . . .

Default I put one on my GTI...

It's nicer than the Forge, in that the nozzles are stock size...MUCH easier to install. I noticed a difference right away...less turbo lag / quicker spool up. A larger exhaust also helps a lot; I have a Milltek exhaust on the GTI (I had Forge BPVs and a Milltek exhaust on the S4).

Default yeah, i got a hold of 4 of the old style bailey's from milpitas2.7T and MikeL ...

and they absolutely sucked. they wouldn't hold a good vacuum at all.

i'm not surprised they revised it. there's got to be a person(s) on here who've possibly blown turbos because of those older ones...how public things were made, i don't know.

later,
mike

Default Order a pair yesterday

By next week I should know how they work with my X-Chip. On paper, they seem pretty nice and a good price.

Default

Then the flare on the end of the Forge nozzle is bigger. The Forge valve was harder to install.
