H-Sport's S4 project car arrived at the Speedway with two important goals on the agenda. First, test the stock set-up vs. the H-Sport Tubular Anti-Roll Bar kit and second, test the durability of our billet aluminum rear reinforcement bracket along with the 22.5mm bar. The S4 traveled through the slalom well in stock form with a bit of power-on understeer and an unbelievable amount of roll! Eager to test the new kit, H-Sport's Drew Oliver made the change from stock to H-Sport modified within 30 minutes. As with the Mini, our multiple position rear made the S4 travel through the slalom with a neutral feel on 'soft' to a rear-steer fell on 'hard'. The slalom is fun but for the H-Sport test drivers, the autocross is the ultimate! Equipped with our 35mm front and 22.5mm rear Tubular Anti-Roll Bars, the S4 was so easy to drive through long, fast corners and slow hairpins. Very quick response at turn-in enabled our tester to 'toss' the S4 anywhere he wanted without scrubbing speed. No snap oversteer but with the rear on 'hard' setting, the outside rear tire gained a large amount of grip exiting corners. The most fun we've had at a test day in a long time! A more detailed report to follow.

Click

Does the kit come with the "billet aluminum reinforcement bracket system" the web site...
talks about? they said they developed it but it isn't shown in the picture of the kit.

Is it safer to compensate the understeer of quattro to use wider front tires than stiffer rear bar?
The badness comes from the bad concept of Audi, same chassis for both quattro and FF, resulting in the heavier front also in quattro.

Umm, I think stasis probably has R compound on their track B5s, and they seem to do well.
What you explain is more of an issue if only the rear sway is stiffened.. and as you know the H Sport set stiffens both. Also, a little rear tire lifting is a good thing :-)
