Anyone use rain-x or a like product on their windeshield?

Trick is to buff it out well. I cheat and use my power buffer. I apply it about every 3rd or 4th wash of the car. Only time I had wiper blade problems I mentioned it to the dealer, they replaced them and all is well.

I've only noticed wiper chatter on fairly dry (barely drizzling) windshields... And I've never noticed it with the washer fluid stuff.
I also haven't noticed any "spotting" or hazing on the car paint or windshield.
I guess YMMV... I love the stuff though!
It's crazy how well it works. It can be a torrential downpour and you can be sitting in a semi's "mist", and you can see out your windshield as if it were bone dry. Your only clue will be the sound of rain pummeling your car roof.
Even if it left spotting (which I haven't seen or noticed..ever), I'd still use it. It's really _THAT MUCH_ safer!
Windshield wipers suck. Straight up and flat out suck!

I prefer the STP formulation, but the orange winter rainex seems to work a lot better for me. It actually helped reduce icing.
My problem with all of them are the really fine lines of moisture that they create after a wiper sweep; literally blinding when driving into the sun.
