Default o. mine isnt like that. my maf housing can be removed

same goes for Mike's.

he did it with a hole saw and bondo. its a hard sleeve so the maf can slide in and out. it even retains the stock clips.

which MAF housing are you running? any pics of your set-up?

Default 88mm for now, 90mm come this weekend.

ill get some pics soon. im still covered in poison ivy though so i might not go outside and take things apart. i could get a shot of the airbox in the car though.

Default Well, that design could definitely benefit from an RS4 airbox top.

Though the screen is an effective solution too. I'd prefer preventing the turbulence over correcting it.

Can't be monday-morning quarterback on this stuff. You fixed it. No harm, no foul

Default I'd like to see how you rigged the coupling to use the stock clips.

thats exactly what i want to do - have some ideas on how to do it, but havent tried anything yet.

I REFUSE to run an open element.
