Yes mine goes off at random, and I find it to be a PIA. The pillar switch is a poor excuse for a work around. I would like to learn how to dissable the sucker.

Check your rearview mirror. Mine started leaking and the dripping set it off all week.
The liquid lands in the back of the shift boot and can be hard to notice, but I don't know how I didn't notice the mirror. I annoyed my coworkers all week with that one.

My motion sensor goes off when it gets too hot inside the car.
I learned not to set the alarm on super hot days or at least turn off the motion sensor. There is a button on the inside door column to turn off the sensor.
Also, the motion sensor will go off if you leave the windows open as well.
