I am meeting with an AOA rep to "discuss" the poor structure of the OEM seat.
Please comment on your audi seats in the subject area..I will print this and show them how you feel.

What do you mean by poor structure?

Seats aren't the problem. The dealer or AoA's hesitation to fix it is the problem.

Default I had the same problem when I got the car. I took it in for service and they somewhat remedied the

problem by "removing and reinstalling seat to minimize seat play". The problem still exists when I take corners or under moderate/hard braking. I will mention the seat frame solution to my dealer when I go in for my 10K service. Hopefully, they will take care of it. My point will be, if my passenger seat doesn't move at all, why does my driver seat move. Let's see. I can live with it for now.

Default I think he's referring to

<i>THIS</i> structure...he modified and added padding to his seat...<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/s4/msgs/767046.phtml">s4for5 post from yesterday</a></li></ul>

Default My seat has a slight wiggle. Dealer tells me it is within spec.

I guess that you can call something within spec when many/most S4's seem to have some sort of driver seat vibration. I am sure that over the next 25,000 miles, physics, inertia, entropy and my 210 pound *** will conspire to get that seat out of spec. It seems to be a fix now or fix later situation. Until then it is a minor irritation.

My seat has quite a bit of movement, but it's "within spec." just like everyone elses.
