Apparently the cops think I'm a drug dealer

So I go to Dunkin Donuts for a coffee break... 12:30am
tonight, on a Monday night...
I needed a kick, since I have loose ends to wrap up and
I've been up since 6am.
Anyway, as I come to the light before Dunkin Donuts, I
see a cop at the light on my left...
as expected, he goes straight, and waits...
I turn left, and go into Dunkin Donuts...
not surprisingly, he parks across the street and waits.
I get a large, chill out, and wait for him to leave.
He leaves... then comes back in about 2 minutes...
then he leaves again... due to my 6th sense, I wait
for a few min...
the cop comes back again.
There had already been four guys in a loud *** mustang
with multiple violations pull out of Dunkin Donuts,
a loud black Porsche with a teenager driving had done
the same. Also, a ricer with a bodykit and decals
drove down the street at high speed... yet, the cop paid
no attention to them.
This got me so confused, I decided to startle the cop.
I bought the guy a cup of coffee and a donut, and walked across
the street. I asked him a couple of questions, blatantly told
him I knew he was waiting for me, and just wanted to know why.
I wanted to know if I get harassed repeatedly out of jealousy
cause I'm young, or racially, or what have you...
I thought it may have something to do with the car being Nogaro.
I explained my situation, where I was working, how I pay taxes
like everyone else, etc... I also pointed out the cars that
he didn't pull over, just to find out what makes me so different
in the eyes of these cops.
So he tells me the truth... the whole ****ing department
knows my car. They also know my name. They all thought
I was a drug dealer, because they've seen my car around town
late at night on weeknights... and because of my age... type
of car, etc.
I'm wondering if I should give this cop a chance to tell his
buddies they were wrong, or if I should try to file a harassment
suit against the department, which is something I have been
considering for some time now.
oh yeah... i get pulled over at least 3 times a week...
even if i'm in a different town... and i still wonder why,
especially when I see louder and flashier cars around
NOT getting pulled over.

Becareful, they might get you good. When you are unexpecting it. But in all reality, your car probably just stands out more. It's like a heat magnet. I'm sensing the same thing in my small town. Altho I don't speed or do bad things. I get long stares from the officers. ****, they might even have pictures of you and your house?
Ask someone with legal expertise, what to do? if anything..

i talked to a lawyer about it awhile ago.
he said it's a tough thing to prove, unless
i document the names and badge numbers of
the officers that pull me over when they don't
give me a ticket. the problem is, as you
already know, they rarely decide not to give
me a ticket for something.

I was pulled over for a yellow (red) light....It was yellow, but I was probably pushing it.
Anyway, the female town cop asks for my license and registration, then another cop car came from the other direction with lights going....he pulled a U-y and pulled behind the female cops squadcar. This new cop then proceded to walk around my car with a mag light.
I think I startled him when I opened all the windows at once (showing that I'm not hiding anything).....I asked if he needed anything, I didn't know if he was going to ask me something.
He basically, put his flashlight away and walked back to his car.
I think it was the tint....but I don't dress like a scum, I live in the burbs too, got a wife, two dogs....why the harassment over some simple profiling.
If it looks like ****, smells like ****, and feels like ****, it's probably ****.
