I just got back this afternoon from having mine done. It accually scared me the first time I punched it in 1st gear. The pull is crazy, smooth as silk, and oh yea, it pulls like CRAZY. The sales guy must have thought I was half retarded cause I was cheezin like hell the whole time he was running my check card. Im glad I didnt get the stock program cause I would never have it back in stock mode again. About the only thing I might do is go back at some point and have a 100oct program done. I got the go fast itch now. If there is anyone that was thinking about chipping and still havent made your mind up yet, just do it. If I died anytime soon Id be just fine if you wanted to bury me in this S4.

...the chip alone will shorten the life of the turbos (how much is up to the condition of your car). So start saving up for that rainy day.

Proper warm up and cool down will now be EXTREMELY important, along with the usual weak parts inspections (i.e. BPVs, TBB, F-hose, etc.).

Har har : ) yea, I know. In all I went with APR because they are near where I live. In fairness, a GIAC place was only about 30 mins farther than where I got my APR but my father lives about half way between my house and the shop I went with. I figure in the future, broken down on the way to the shop with a blown turbo ect, it will be easier for me to get a ride.
