There is a group of people currently on AZ trying to currently bring back the homebrew ecu tuning scene. Might want to check it out. It is insainly complicated, but theoretically if your good with a wideband and take your time learning you could come up with some results.

Typically, people buy a GIAC-X chip for home brewing. Lemmi works well with this chip. You need to use a TCD, or MBC, EBC to increase boost over what chip can provide. K03's are pretty fragile, so be carefull with what you do. There are many thousands of posts on home brewing on this B5S4 site, but you need to search them to see what's there. Frankly, I would buy a used GIAC-X chip and screw around with it with Lemmi if I was you.

thanks for the advice, what psi do the giac chips run? also why the gaic-x and not the apr is there a speficif reason such as compatibility? also would i have to buy a used a6 chip? pretty sure the engines run same software i know both a6 versions of the biturbo run ME7.1, only diff being ecu codes. i know the ko3 is a lil babe and needs to be gentle, thats why i want max boost spikes below 17psi and redline pressure at 15psi, i know too many 1.8T uys running 19+ and wondering why their turbos are leaking oil... hehe
