Default APR flip switch problems..need help!!

I didnt lock it and cc stalk seems to be fine, but nothing hapens when i try to switch from pump gas to race gas file (no flashing lights). I did try unlocking it but i havent done anything that would cause it to lock in the first place (like disconnect the battery) APR says i need to check the cc stalk with a VAGCOM. I'VE GOT A TANK FULL OF RACE GAS! So any help would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks in advance.

Default Couple things...

1) Did the ECU lose power? Dead battery, disconnected battery? If so, it's in locked mode in the first slot (program). You need to unlock it.

2) If not, then your cruise control switch may be going out. Very common in the B5 cars for this to happen. Use VAG-COM to look at the measuring block for that and you can see the binary values during switch activation to see if it's functioning properly.

3) Are you sure that you're doing it correctly? Pushing the correct button(s) and sliding the lever properly, etc.?

Default Recently my car has been acting the same way. I have to unlock the unlock the ecu to swich from

chipped and stock.
go really slow with the onlock code, it took me a while to get it.
also I set my code to just one number for all 4 code numbers,
made it much quicker to enter in correctly.
