I just saw the video showing the "very fast eclipse" racing the stage 3 S-4 and I've got to say I don't believe any of it. What a bunch of garbage! I have a 2000 stage 2 S-4 and I live in Colorado at 7500 feet in elevation. My Audi revs through 3rd gear on up faster than that Audi does in the video. I've driven a stage 3 S-4 and it ran through 4th gear faster than this video shows that 3rd gear pull. This was a setup. I for one don't believe it. I also realize a S-4 is not the fastest car out there!

No not paranoid at all but thanks for asking. I didn't say that DSM's are fast but that S-4 doesn't accelerate like it should. Just a fact!

Of course, at the time of the video, neither of us were that fast. That was when I had stock ICs and stock air filter. And naturally on 93 oct. I never got a solid drag run with that config, but my car was probably running something like 13.3@103. Since changing those above two items, my car ran ~12.9@109 on 93. So, in one way you are correct - my car wasn't at a typical Stg3 performance (due to those stock ICs and filter), but there was nothing funny going on with that run. Oh, and yeah, his car is a **** load faster, but I think I covered that in the subject.
