I can still return the APR (10 day trial)...is it worth the hassle (to change to the GIAC X)?

Default think of it this way: are you happy with the APR? if so, then why not keep it?

Sure, the GIAC is a bit faster, but either way the cars drive awesome with either chip. A lot of people on here are HP ******, and just want the fastest possible. If that is you, then get the GIAC, if you just want a quick, refined car, either chip is great.

I have a 2000 (a-box) and had APR v5.0 & now GIAC. Stage 1: GIAC is 0.25 seconds faster FATS!

Default the main difference is how hard the power ramps up with X..apr is more subtle in its approach

hence smoother/"safer"

Default I had both chips for a while. I ended up keeping the APR and selling the

GIAC. I probably wouldn't have been disappointed with either, but the APR chip was more in line with what I was looking for.<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/s4/msgs/1962957.phtml">My previous posts on this topic</a></li></ul>

I'd somewhat agree with the smoother - my GIAC is very comparable.
