it's an ADDICTIVE game that's incredibly simple but incredibly complex. go to this site and set up an account and you can join my gang. The "game" goes for one month and then resets and for $5 you can have a lifetime account and for $10 you can have three. I set up 6 permanent accounts and 2 temporary ones so I have quite alot of strategic exercise...there are a TON of Audiworld guys in several different gangs....

http://www.gang-wars.com/</a

They're all crazy raving lunatics that didn't have a penny, had major homosexual tendencies, did way too many drugs, no one understood any of them (even doubtful if they knew themselves), had dysfunctional families, their mothers were usually prostitutes, they cut off one of thier body parts or had major disease and died of an overdose or suicide.
Then they became famous.

"..incredibly simple but incredibly complex."
That reminds me of a computer science text book I had during freshman year..
Text book: "Lets look at a simple and hard example."
Me: ... $#%#@ so that the hell is it!!!

depicting 200 years of the Golden Age. Quite a showing and wonderfully arranged European pieces from the Golden Age. The museum made a mini book that you got at the entry of the exhibit (4 floors) that described what was going on in the painting and how it was relevant to the painting that came next (chronologically speaking).
I still have the book. Absolutely brilliant show.
Although, I did get a headache from stepping into the Louvre. I covered that thing like a Cliff Notes. 1/2 day to be precise.

it's simple..there are only a handful of rules and there are ONLY a small number of options.
VERY complex since the other players are real people HOW you decide to use those options.

that people didn't always dress like they did. No, that's quite sophisticated although the dead center perspective is a curse of some of that era. The geometry of that painting is DULL and would be CRUSHINGLY dull except that the artist used some axial thirds to make some decent composition.
One of the rigid rules this painting adheres to is the eyepath not trapping the viewer into the painting. you are meant to follow a VERY definite path through the story here and it's quite obvious what that path is meant to be.
But that is sort of a better example of what I'm talking about. Most art before the rebirth was commisioned religious work.
