if i get 50k miles out of the turbos ill be happy. whats the fun if i cant blow something up?
ill eventually go with hybrids, prob RS6 wheels with all the goodies. Im no longer having boost creep issues so im seeing a friendlyer 21-22psi at redline.

Nyet.....what do you think of 23 psi spike tapers to 21 only on 100? "should be" ok no?
not daily driving of course.....i dont have that kina cashola to blow on racegas. Pump setting will prob be 21.5 psi spike, taper to 20 at redline

its not an octane thing...

again, look at the map. the top boundary of the map is overspin.
21 psi is approximately PR 2.6 on the y axis. where that overspin line drops at .14 on the x axis corresponds to about 360 g/sec, which is about 420 bhp.

Sir may i ask how do one calculate X axis correspond to what airflow?
say in my case, I usually see 257~260g/s on 85mm maf running 22spike taper to 19.5~20psi by redline, am i off the effeciency range?

What number are you assuming for the piping pressure losses? I was thinking
2 psi for the IC and post-turbo piping, and 1 psi for the air filter and pre-compressor piping. That works out to a PR of 2.75 if my calculation is correct: (21+2+14.7) / (14.7-1) = 2.75
