Silence

So I have been using e85 mixtures lately, as 1. It's cheap. 2. It's readily available around here. 3. It's 105 octane.

I took this log with other driving home the other night. Full tank of 91 with 2.5 gallons of e85. 76 degrees, and elevation varying from 2600-3000. This one was the third and fastest of the night, however all runs were within .15 seconds of each other. All runs were uphill as well.

My mods are as follows:
Asp Stage 3
PJ K04s
Labree DP and Borla exhaust
ER intercoolers

I curious to see if tuners adopt this fuel as an option. Tony @ EPL has been hinting at it for a while.

Is this OTS ASP or did they do some revisions for you?

Problem is, it was never tweaked to my setup, as I had bad egt and 02 sensors at the time. Only complaint is a bouncy idle when a/c is not on, and me being at altitude, I wish it ran a little more boost. Also, the timing curve is pretty aggressive for 91, but with the e85 mixed in, it seems to like it.

Log block 002 at warm idle. Better yet, log 002/015/016 to see engine load, injector on time, MAF, and misfires on each individual cyilnder.

that I could not figure out. Narrowed it down to the injector, put in a new, and they were still there. About to give up, I ordered another, this time flow matched, and poof theyre gone. No misfires except for a few on cold start, which I am fine with. Maf is around 4.5 give or take .5, injector on time is usually 1.7 or just below. Load is 19.5 without a/c on.

It idles perfect with a/c on, but will fluctate without. Sometimes it sits right at 760-800, other times it goes up to 1000 even and slowly settles or bounces. I've noticed the throttle plate moves when it does this.

Weird thing is, I have a file from EPL that I bought from Davenew (being I dont have a race file) and it idles perfect, even with load around 16% and Maf around 4 g/s. That's what leads me to believe it must just be something that needs to be tweaked.

Ya. I lost about 1.5 psi at my altitude. I reckon it would run 21.5 to 20 redline at sea level.
