Is ATE Super Blue really that bad for the Master Seals and Clutch Slave? Why?
I was getting ready to do replace my fluid with Super Blue and have heard that it will screw up several things, what is the problem with it and why would ECS tuning sell and recommend it for Audis if it was that bad?
Trying to figure if I go for it or buy somehting else. Thanks!!

I've heard of it messing up seals in the master etc. too but i don't use it because it dyes ...
the reservoir blue.
That, and of the Racing brake fluids I tested, it had the lowest wet and dry boiling points.
Pentosin Racing had the highest followed by Motul RBF600.
I'd just go Pentosin since it's cheaper than Motul or Castrol or AP Racing.

ECS provides ATE Super Blue for many different Audis/VW/Etc. I've pointed this out to them before
but they as they are not specifically an B5 supplier, and since it does not appear to affect 100% of our cars, they continue to sell it.
I have had the squeeky clutch issue, and not wanting to risk anything, I got rid of it and put in Motul 600. No problems since.
