Default In my own experience : S/w for KKK (e.g. GIAC or other) will not work well with Garrett Turbo's

The Garrett compressor map, and spooling characteristics are entirely different. One has to be extra careful of surge on the low side, and be ready for faster ramps on boost build-up

It took a few tries for Mihnea to port his S/w for RS2 Turbo (KKK K24/K26) to the GT3071R/K26 on my UrS4.

As with most things stock software worked just fine right off the bat.

Default maybe not flames

But we all know APR got the initial software (to view and tweak the code, not chipped code) from Garrett, then AWE put the screws to that.

I'm not sure if everyone has the ability to decrypt the others code.

GIAC has some encryption, APR does, AMS did not and know Mark @AMS talked to a few others about getting more protection in his code.

If I was a tuner, the code would be locked down tighter then fort knox!

Default I think my K04s produce somewhere around 17psi @ 3000rpm...

just putting it in 6th and going WOT at about 2k...

it seems laggy doing this, so 4k to get 15psi might be a little late, that means you would actually feel it around 5k rpm? then shift at 7k? Enlighten me, just my thoughts.

Default yes, we don't have any issues, but there is nothing about the car on their site

there has been nothing beyond the initial post about the car.

Yes i will give them the fact they were the second GT car on the road (Silverbullet was first).

But I've also heard other stories about kurts car, I don't know what is true, how it's running now, how it ran before or anything. So I'm not here to start crap.

I just don't think it's as easy as your trying to make it sound, having GIAC code on anything that does not resemble a KKK turbo at this time. Without major tweaking.

Not here to start ****, just making sure that all the angles are covered so people are not convinced that they can go to ebay buy some GT's, slap them on with GIAC code and be cruisen!
