Attempted Theft
So I come out of my office today and someone broke into my car. 2001 S4, punched through the door lock, and broke the ignition out.
The wheel was locked to the right so getting the car towed to 1.5 hrs to get it on the bed...real fun stuff.
Any idea on prices to get those repaired? I know the door probably needs to be replaced because its through the paint...thanks guys.

Edison, NJ at my office parking lot...apparently some woman saw the people trying to do it, but didnt think anything of it.
Two black guys, one light skinned in a Green Oldsmobile or Buick with Dark tinted windows...

Put it this way, and it's been said TIME and TIME agan on here...
If you are in NJ, and do not have after market security, you're ASKING for a stolen car.
I honestly can't believe your ride hasn't been stolen already. Stock security is a joke.

I have had the car for over 2 years and have never had a problem, all im asking is what prices range for repairing the damage.

Suck man. Sorry. Welcome to the club. Insurance $4k+ if they replace the door.
Might be less if they try to repair it, but it's a difficult spot.
