ATTN Texas folks
Where's a good place to eat in Richardson? I'm down from CA on business this week and my co-worker (with the car) is going to arrive quite late.
Any place I could take a cab to would be great. The Courtyard has no food and I'm starving :-(
If anyone wants to entertain me I'll be here till Thursday. I'll probably be back down here several times over the next few weeks.

What kind of food do you like?
In any case, there are *tons* of good restaurants in Addisson, which is just west of Richardson; take Beltline west from Preston, and before you get to the tollway you'll find some pretty good restaraunts...there are even more west of the tollway.
Or, if that's too far, where are you in Richardson, and what kind of food do you like?

Mariott off of South Sherman? One sec...
...if you like seafood, Papadeaux's is tough to beat...they're on the northbound 75 access road, right around Spring Valley....
There's also a great Cajun place, Razzoo's, on the southbound 75 access road, just south of Spring Valley.
If neither of these sound good, write back; I'll try to think of a few more in the meantime.

Lots of good ones.....
In Richardson I would recommend both Pappadeux for cajun style seafood and Pappasitos for Mexican (same parent company). They are right next to each other on the east side of 75. One of my personal favorites is Houstons, but it's over in Addison, about a 20 min ride west on Beltline. Once you've gone to Addison btw, you'll find yourself in restuarant heaven, probably 50+ in a 5 mile radius.

deuex was closed - ended up at Wizards - decent food - hottie waitresses!
The server uniform is like a catholic school girl uniform. I didn't realize I was this close to Papa Deaux, great food there. Anyway, Wizards was worth the OK food. My waitress was.. um.. great.. :-)
