Of course, we should all intuitively know this, but just in case you were interested.
Audi is only manufacturer to with two engines on the list.

hell yes...
it's like that building in Chicago that won an architectural award and the windows started popping out and it was closed and condemmed...just cause it looks good on paper does NOT mean it's a great engine.
Seriously folks, the failure rate on turbos and turbo related parts (boots/hoses/BPVs) is unacceptibly high by ANY standards. If it was a truly great engine, it would be RELIABLE as well as "sophisticated".
You expect something like this from a Ferrari because it's a near race car but a turbocharged engine that only makes .7 bar boost and has THIS MUCH trouble isn't worth any particular accolades...it's ONLY making a measley 92hp/liter WITH the turbos and it's not even reliable doing that!
I'm unimpressed...if the car wasn't so damn fun to drive I'd be giving it back to the dealer about now.
