Default Audi Certified 2001 S4 Avant

I'm currently driving a 2000 A4 Avant with a 5 spd. transmission. It's fully loaded including Nav and Sports Package, Xenons, CD changer, cold weather and premium packages. It is stock through and through. It's also in cherry condition inside and out. It's got 41,500 miles on it, (I bought it 3 years ago as a Certified with 19,000 miles). There's a local Audi dealer with a Certified 2001 S4 Avant, (43,000 miles) with Nav and I believe every other option, too. They're asking $33,000. My Assured Warranty runs out in Jan '05, so I'm looking for something with a substantial amount of warranty left on it. Does $33,000 for the S4 sound like a lot? I'm assuming the price is negotiable, and I'm planning on calling the dealer this week. I'd like to get him down to $29,000, and ask for $20,000 for my car. Do these numbers sound reasonable?

Default if you could get it for 29k w/ that for your car, take it

you're getting an amazing deal.
avants are just now getting below 30k, and that's usually not a 6spd or certifed either.

go for it. i'm thinking about doing just about the same thing.

Default High price for a 43K mile 2001...

Should realistically be able to get for $26-27K on a private sale - dealer should come down to $29-30K for the car. My dealer said he would ask $32K for my '01.5 S4 w/ 30K miles and expect to get $30K. That's for a 6sp with all options, in absolutely perfect shape!

Good luck.
