Default AVC-R wiring plan, so far

The AVC-R has six wires. Here's: color - function - wire connection on car. All wires tapped in at connectors near ecu.

1) white - vehicle speed - white/blue, pin 3 of black 10 pin connector behind ecu.

2) purple - RPM - green/blue, pin 2 of black 10 pin connector behind ecu.

3) gray - throttle position - brown/red, pin 3 of 15 pin white connector behind ecu.

4) red - power - red/green, pin 5 of brown 6 pin connector behind ecu. This wire supplies power to leak detection pump.

5) green - ground - I'll put it on a lug and secure with other ground wires on one of the grounding studs.

6) black - 2nd ground - same as green.

I plan on mounting the solenoid valve behind the firewall. I hate to run longer air hoses but the instructions also warn of installing it in hot environments.

Default 2000, A box

I should check the wiring for 2001 & 2002 to be sure they're the same.

I'm pretty sure they aren't. I don't have the diagrams for the m & t boxes though. :-/

Are A and H the same? I would think H would be the same as M and T due to ESP and the Hitachi MAF.

I'd think h would be the same as m and t, but I'm not sure.

Default Those *sound* right ;)

If you need me to run to the garage and take off my ECU cover to be sure let me know. I just followed the wiring diagrams in bentley.

The throttle position sensor never worked on mine, dunno why. It works fine without a signal anyhow.

Default yes, I studied the bentley to verify those connections

I guess I should check and see what voltage range the japanese cars use for tps. I'd like to use it to help with possible part throttle issues with apr. Thanks for the offer, but as long as bentley is trustworthy, I'm OK.
