I have cleaned with Griot's wheel cleaner with no ill effects...

Note that I see this as a band-aid for wheels I don't care to much about. They just need to look OK from 10 feet away. If these were my "show" rims I would have them professionally repaired.

Too bad you don't have a Nogaro or else rolling with matching blue tires would've been tight y0!

I had two wheels I repaired years ago (link in my sig)- ->

I sold the set of four, one repaired, about two years ago..and they were ingreat condition.

I had used the set of four for winter wheels and cleaned them with out reservation...

I still have one as my spare and it looks perfect.
