So sunday im running behind and work, and instead of going up the street and putting mixing 91/and 100 like i have been, i threw $20 in at my station and decided to fill up monday with with 100. Monday morning i have crazy misfrie/rpm issues when starting the car. I was going to log these issues but it seemed to dissapear lately. So monday i top off my tank which was alittle over a 1/4 of a tank full, withh 100octane. Long story short when i go to log the car this morning, no more issues. SO i know for a fact that i am running a 93 octane file. what file are others that use AWE code having this issue running. I personally have no probs, especially with the cost of 100octane vs 91, mixing every tank like i have been, but for some they might need to get a 91 octane program to fix this. This is all speculation at this point and i need to now log a tank of 91 vs 100 to see the diff but just wanted to see what everyone else thought?

I have a vacuum leak somewhere.. and when I reset the ECU its fine for a bit.. then as it adapts for the leak it starts to run like poop when cold.
I will be replacing the Spider hose tomorrow, as I have a cracked hose back there..
well see if that cleans it up..

my start the S4, and RPMs jump immediately and hop around for about 1 min, until the car settles down.
a few times it seems like the car was going to stall out too. odd, cause i havent seen this issue since going stage 3.
i dont like it either...

Many will disagree saying you need a colder plug but you will only really see the effects of a colder plug after a hard track day. I have tried Platins and other cold plugs and have misfired badly on everything but stock PFR6Q's gapped to .28.
Of course, I can only speak from my own personal experiences while your car may act completely different.

also...i think both codes are written for 91, as they dont have a specific 91 and 93. Though i hear most East coasters run the stock box file with 93+ and CAI open element file is rec for 91. *Shrugs*
btw...you have MAIL regarding AWE fueling
