Default Thanks - STFA reveals a mixed opinion on the DTS's - they seem to really

polarise opinion - half really like it, half think it's crap......think I'll buy it and put it on anyway!

Default I installed the DTS, RS4 motor mounts, and snub at the same time and felt a noticeable difference...

Several caveats - I've got an A6 with a Tip. I didin't notice a difference in shifting like you will with a 6spd. I did feel a significant difference in front end stiffness. It seems like there is less body flex/twist and turn-in seems crisper.

Had one on my A6. Likely won't be doing one on the S. I've got the snub, though

Default If you have good motor/trans mounts it may not be that noticable

The best thing about it is that it helps to distribute shock loading when you dump the clutch or take off fast, etc. If it takes some of the loading, that means less wear and tear on the other mounts.. so (hopefully) they'll all last longer.

If you drive slow and easy all the time you would never notice the difference. It does reduce up/dn travel of the tranny but that's not a problem with sunday driving.

Before = slop in shifter especially during stop/go traffic. After = no slop. No brainer for me.
