AWE/GIAC chip ?
does anyone know what the current code under the engine block in VAG-COM should show up as for the latest version of the giac software? i am not sure if mine is outdated or even exactly what program it is. hopefully someone knows and it saves me a long distance call

You can't tell from VAG - crack open ECU and read label then call
