Good thinking. I don't wash my silverware in the dishwasher cause it corrodes them.
So I resort to washing them by hand, followed by hand drying them with increasingly finer lint free cloths. Finally, I tell each piece of silverware a little story before putting it in the drawer. Happy silverware lasts longer.
