Default AWE K04 fueling

STFA'd but didn't find a clear answer. Who makes those green top injectors for AWE? And what's the P/N for those?

Default here...

click on the link below, scroll down to injectors (about 2/3 of the way down), they're the first item, for $350. they are made by bosch, and they require the spacers (supplied in that kit)<ul><li><a href="http://www.ecstuning.com/stage/edpd/pagebuild_v2.cgi?make=Audi&amp;engine=2.7T&amp;mod el=B5%20S4&amp;submodel=&amp;category=Engine">clic k here</a></li></ul>

Default That is incorrect.

The injectors that originally came with our fueling kit were similar to the commonly found "green tops", but were not identical.

Currently, our kit uses a much evolved Bosch injector that runs cleaner at idle and part throttle and does not resemble the common green tops.

Default Hey Todd, what might be causing my car to stall occasionally on cold starts?

cold as in it's sat overnight; the weather isn't cold. It'll stall upon start, but then runs beautifully on a restart.

More commonly it almost stalls but rescues itself by increasing throttle; occasionally though it can't rescue itself.

Not a huge issue, but my neighbors look at me funny ;-)

Otherwise the kit is 'AWEsome' :-)

Default We have reports of cold running issues on some cars.

Garrett and I are discussing if more cold start support can be added to the chip, or if there is a common independent issue among the affected cars that is causing this.

We are working on it.

Default A couple months ago. We do have an "upgrade" program for users of the old injectors.

However, if you are not having any idle or part throttle issues, there is not need to upgrade.

For upgrade info, please contact a sales person here.
