Default AWE Stg III mileage calibration

I can't find the answer STFA. What number are folks using for the VAG-COM mileage calibration for the AWE Stg III plus fueling? I have a feeling that either 115 is not enough, or I am fubar and will never be close again, at least not with the trip computer. I have a sneaking suspicion that I am not really getting 450 miles per tank, as indicated when I fill up, as my gas light keeps coming on after around 260 miles or so per fill up.

Thanks.

Default it's fixed in the new file, but known to only get really accurate from 1/2 tank down...

...which is just like stock.

never dealt with it on old file, sorry.

Default I just had the work done at Induktion, and I should have the new file...

I have not been checking once I am below a half tank. Maybe that's the ticket. Thanks.

Light goes on with 2 gallons left. Simple.

That's cool. Doesn't help with calculating mileage though.

Default Car computers are never accurate. Fill up/restart trip odometer/Fill up when close to empty/

Divide number of miles on trip odometer by # of gallons you just filled up your tank with. That will give you the real world gas mileage you're getting.

Default I have the brand new file (like a week old)... and I still have this issue. It left me stranded once

when I first got the car... said "30 miles left" as I ran out of gas and got stuck on the side of the freeway.

I could run my old car past "0" and never ran out of gas.

I definitely need to calibrate mine.

I don't go by my gas gauge any more. And I NEVER let it get below 1/8th tank as a precaution.

Nah... It's not even close - even with the new file, until you get close to zero - which makes sense
