Default That's the weird thing I heard after owning them for a while. They're sold as no service needed...
I was told that I shouldn't even open them up to check them for problems.

Strange ... one of the reasons people get them is that they can be serviced.

no service needed. and, if you do, it voids their lifetime warranty. per Bailey
