and the more I drove it, the more I disliked it, so many things went wrong with it.. I was in love with it off the bat, but that turned sour quick, it was in the shop every other week for 3 weeks... Finally, the cam chain tensioner blew and my engine took a literal ****, that was it, I sold it as soon as I got it back.. I was a step away from the lemon law.. (a few other B6'ers had the exact same problem, all with early build '04's..
And yes, I modded everything I could (CB, Dp's, flash, brakes, sways, cai, etc) and the car was still slower than a new outback XT at altitude.. It was terrible.. Now creature comforts, seats, 6cd in dash, etc., were great! Preformance overall of that car just doesn't equal the B5...
needless to say, I sold it and smartened up and bought a B5 and I've never looked back..

b5
pros: better mpg, lots aftermarket parts available, twin turbos = big smile.
cons: proper warm up/cool down, know how to fix it or you need to have a deep pocket.
b6
pros: recaro seats ftw, v8 sounds nicer,
cons: very very very poor mpg.
