Hey guys I need some help. My 01 S4 has recently started to overheat when idling. The car is quickly reaching operating temperature but as soon as I stop somewhere, my coolant temp starts rising to the 3/4 mark. The coolant temp sensor, water pump, and thermostat were all replaced within the last 5K. Both of the fans are turning on and remain on after the car is stuff off. I justed burped the system and no air was present in the lines. I've looked through all the historical threads that I could find on here but all of the potential problematic parts have either recently been replaced on my car. Any ideas?

The fans running after shut down is normal. If the temp sensor is faulty I would use an IR thermometer to check the temp on the upper radiator hose. If the temp is normal it could be a faulty temp sensor. Just some thoughts, good luck.
