Default B5 S4 Turbo Upgrade

I have a 01 S4 and I'm going to be upgrading my turbo's from the stocker's to the K04's. I'm wondering if there is anything special I should be aware of when doing this? Anything other than the turbo's and intake pipes that i need to get for the upgrade? I'm just planning on getting the K04 kit from ECS that just has the turbos gaskets and pipes. do my oil lines need to be updated? I have a K&N intake and that is all the car is stock otherwise, and i'm trying not to spend too much much my right side turbo is bad so it's either upgrade or put stock crap back in to save a coupl hundred bucks. opinions?

Oil lines on an '01 should be fine. Check the pass. side one for kinks

Default do K04s while you're in there. They'll run fine on stock software

Maaaaybe a few hundre rpms more lag, but with stock software, I doubt you'd really notice.

Default Edy Jun was driving on stock ecu for a little, didn't hear any complaints from him. I would think..

clutch would be a good idea just like Steve said.

My car went into the shop to get k04s b/c my k03s blew up and I got:

k04s
apr bipipe & snub mount
piggies
rs4 clutch

I'd replace them with new even on an '01 and use heat wrap as well

Really? Why? I'm gonna wrap mine, but I've got an '00 and if they look good, I'm not replacing them.

Default It's always smart to at least make sure they're 100% free and clean inside

plus '00 is old style iirc
