B5S4 Wheel BT: Does ET35 = ET35, or is it like tires where 235/40 does not equal 235/40 necessarily?

B5S4 Wheel BT: Does ET35 = ET35, or is it like tires where 235/40 does not equal 235/40 necessarily?
For example...is the real offset distance of an 18x8.5 ET35 BBS CH exactly the same as an 18x8.5 ET35 Sportec Mono 10 or an 18x8.5 ET35 Flik Artic? Or there a lot of variation in exact real-world wheel dimensions just like there is for tires. For example, S03's being wider than Pilot Sports or whatever.
Maybe let me put it another way...if I have a certain tire that fits perfectly on one wheel, will the same tire fit on another wheel with supposedly the same specs?

ET is always the same. all 18 x 8 wheels are 18 inch diameter and 8 inches wide. But fitment....
NO!!!
The fitment of a wheel is dependant on spoke profile and width and offset.

Sure. I forgot to say, assume that spoke design (and thus brake clearance) is not an issue.
Just say you had two 18x8.5 ET35 wheels from different manufacturers, both that fit no problem...will they both stick out *exactly* the same amount relative to the fender or will there be some few mm difference?
