B7 S4/RS4 no oil temp gauge?

Default B7 S4/RS4 no oil temp gauge?
I'm guessing that it's because it's non-turbocharged so the oil temperature doesn't matter as much? Or do they figure nobody reads that gauge?

Default Well I have a pic that shows otherwise...
Took it at the Toronto Auto Show on Monday. It's got (from left to right) coolant, tach, speedo and gas.

Maybe the Canadian model is different? Would you like me to post the pic (it's pretty crappy quality)?

Default RS4 does not.
it only has an oil temp readout in the MFD

Same thing. Gauge does not have to be analog.

It's shown in the center DIS screen. There is also a message to keep below 7k RPM until oil is warm
