Backwards Door Locks...????? Any ideas? HELP!

For some reason, my door locks are reversed. The Key FOB, Door Switch, and Electrical portion of the door key.
With any one of the 3 ways, if I press the lock button, they unlock. If I press the unlock, the dome light comes on and the doors lock.
The auto locking locks the doors when I turn the car off. If I turn the door key to the left, the alarm locks the doors (and turns on the dome light).
The alarm never honks to say it is arming in any of the ways (probably because the dome light comes on), but the panic still works. The windows, domelight, and sunroof all work properly, and the locks (with the exception of them being backwards) all work, too.
Here's what I've tried so far. (Dealer said just disconnect the battery to reset the system) most of these came from old posts I've found, or suggestions from people.
I have briefly disconnected the battery, then reconnected.
I disconnected the battery for 2 hours then reconnected
I disconnected the battery, manually unlocked doors, then reconnected the battery.
I disconnected both battery terminals and touched them togeter then reconnected.
I disconnected the battery over night (8+ hours)
I even reversed the air lines at the pump. (that's a pain)
None of these worked. It was always still backwards.
Here's one catch, everytime I disconnected the battery (even overnight) the stereo maintained it's memory, and did not go into safe mode (which is good because I don't have the code yet) so, the electrical system is not completely draining itself (I guess).
What does it take to reset the system?
Is there a back up battery somewhere?
What else can I try? This thing is driving me nuts.
Thanks in advance,

You were on the money with that one....
After I posted, I went back and Vag'd it to see if maybe there was an alarm module to check, then I decided to try to put it back to the base code.
Then, I noticed my problem. I added 4 for "one touch" when I should have subtracted 4. DOH!
Now I feel lick a bit of a dumb a$$, but it all works perfectly.
At least the stereo never went into safe and I didn't have to pay the dealer to get the code for me.
Thanks for your help....
