Bad/dirty MAF Sensor? (updated)
I have had this happen before, but I wanted to try and duplicate the problem while logging 115. All codes were cleared before the "run".
-Start: 6th gear @ 60mph.
-Went WOT from ~2400-3200rpm.
-At ~2600rpm, EPC and ABS lights flashed for ~10seconds. Also slight throttle cut. (As you can see, there is a hiccup at 2600rpm)
I scanned for codes shortly after, and had DTC 16487 [Mass Air Flow Sensor (G70): Signal too High / P0103 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent]
STFA (when the search option still worked) and saw that a bad or dirty MAF could be the issue.
-Hitachi MAF Sensor.
-APR v5 93 oct.
-k03's
I didn't disconnect the MAF and do another run to see if I get the same codes... yet
Suggestions?, Ideas?
Thanks

Higher gears, low RPM WOT have the greatest the highest stress on the clutch and drivetrain.
Which is why I asked the question about 3rd gear. It is possible that you are getting some clutch slippage or engine/transmission mount movement with low RPM high gear WOT. Do you hear any clunking or weird sounds when this happens?

New RS4 clutch ~1000 miles ago. Decent clunk/drivetrain movement when on/off throttle
I didn't hear or feel anything abnormal at ~2600RPM on this particular run; just the throttle cut. However something is definitely not right with the drivetrain.
Had 3 separate shops check engine and transmission mounts (they said all were good), Also replaced front snub mount, DTS mount, and rear diff mount.
When on/off throttle, there seems to be significant drivetrain "slop". It feels like transmission slip on a automatic car. There is also excessive movement with the shifter at the same time.
It's annoying as hell, and makes the car feel like a broken POS, but I don't have a garage/lift available to do any work myself, and can't justify paying $85/hr for days of diagnostic/troubleshooting at a indy shop.
VAST and CPT are somewhat local, but still a few hours away.
