Default Bad Forge DV valve causing rough idle. What damage could occur

by driving much farther like this? Already ordered new Bosch from Piggie but have to drive the car until they arrive.

Re-lubed but must be a bad o-ring since it's not holding vacuum in space A above.

Just go maf free and stay out of boost until you get it fixed.

Default stay off boost ..

why couldn't you just stop at a VW dealer and pick up a pair on the spot ... i'm all about supporting piggie but these you could have purchased/changed right away.

I'm at my folks house for the weekend... 2.5 hours from any import dealer.
