Default Baillargeon Audi is a masterpiece!! Len Hunt VP of A of A....

was in attendance last night at the open house of Baillargeon Audi in Euless, Texas...between Fort Worth and Dallas. He gave marvelous, glowing opening remarks about the heritage of Audi to owner Bobby Baillargeon and presented him with a very unique inscribed crystal pyramid from A of A.

Baillargeon Audi, which is a stand alone dealership, is HUGE!! Modern and efficient! Their inventory is just as large and must have included at least five or six A8's, three RS6's, S4's, Allroads, a fleet of TT's, etc. They had a cut-away of an A6 on a stand that showed the drive system, safety features, steel stuctures, etc. The service bays are massive, as are the parts and service departments. The customer service area, complete with its tile floor and glassed walls looks more like an efficient showroom... moreso than just a service area to write up tickets for customers cars.

I had a wonderful conversation with Bobby this morning. He has stated that SERVICE is a Number One priority at his dealership. He will stake his name on that. I have dealt with them for over a year as they were getting up and running through their temporary location and I can vouch for his people. From Dave in parts, Jeff in service, James in sales, even to Mo, one of the parts drivers!

Bobby is young, enthusiastic, and excited about his dealership. You can bet that he will be there to watch things.....interesting, he was a tech (mechanic) for many, many years at his dad's Ford dealership, which taught him how important service is to the customer....how many Audi dealer owners can say they got their hands dirty by wrenching in the business first??

The 2000/2001 LeMans winning R8 was sitting in their "delivery" room where it looked right at home. I could see the gleam in Bobby's eye everytime he looked at it....as if..."someday"!

Default Maybe if Len Hunt focused less on public appearances and more on the quality of the product...

...he was selling, my car wouldn't have been in the shop for a second transmission rebuild before 50k miles (took a MONTH this time).

Audiworld represents just a small percentage of Audi customers, yet how many on here have had their turbos, synchros, MAF's, <<insert your favorite part here>> fail?

Would <<insert any japaneese manufacturer here>> try to sell a product with the reliability record of Audi?

Tell me again why my next car should be an Audi.

02 S4 Santorin/Silver/6 speeds back in the transmission again, for now, till they break a third time

Default Low blow dude....

Sounds like the dealer that fixed your first tranny DIDN'T fix it right. I am sorry..I am positive the company you work for is PERFECT. Yep, perfect in every way. EVERY car company has issues...every one tries to make the customer happy...sometimes they can't. No one can make everyone happy all the time. Audi of America has taken care of me...I am proof that they do care. I had issues with my first S4...what did they do...they replaced it..with a better newer model. They did right. No matter what companies do...someone will not be happy. Looks like your on that end of the bell shaped curve. You have issues with AoA, call customer relations...tell them your issues...write a detailed, factual, account of what has happened. Let them have an opportunity to make it right. If they don't succeed, then sell your car and go bitch on the bimmer or mercedes forum.

Sorry, but I have no patience for people that act like you do.

What did you expect...a bunch of posters to go "right on man...tell it like it is..." NOT.

Default I would also say that your not in the same boat as everyone else.

Steve,

Seriously, some of these posts put you in the average joes shoes, which don't fit. This happens when you post about Audi, when you post about tuners/resellers that "took care of you".

1) Resellers/Tuners would never screw someone that is part of AW, nor would they chance doing anything negative to you. Not only AW but being the pres of the NorCal Audi group (you brought tons of business to many AW advertisers and dealerships. (nothing here is in a negative light!)

2) You have gone to many Audi events, even tech sessions, things that only top salesmen get to go to. The rest of us are not in the position, we don't have a few dealers taking "extra" care of us because we have provided them with numerous car purchases etc. (again nothing here is a negative)

So either way you look at it, your situation is not in reality the norm!.

I have had no issues with my current dealer, all work has been top notch, they have taken REALLY good care of me, but I can't say the same for the mechanics at Anderson Behel.

I understand why you posted, but I have said the same **** I'm saying here numerous times. So please understand, you have put yourself into a better position then the normal Audi owner and in many cases, the normal Audi owner is not being taken care of as well as a person spending this type of money expects. Each persons experience is different and your right no car manufacturer is perfect and Audi appears to be trying to change their tone (but it's due to survival!) Being rated at the bottom of the support chain when spending $50K+ on a car is going to lose you business and market share and and and and.

Audi being in the top 3 in service in Europe and AOA being near the bottom, should give AOA the right roadmap to follow..

Default Still one of the "nicest" looking S4's on the circuit. Hate how Audi forces

teams with Audi backing to paint an ugly "okay a bit harsh" not as appealing paint scheme.

Although the Champions were not bad, they were not fantastic and I'm not a fan of the new paint scheme of the STaSIS cars either.

Champion R8 was a cool, different paint scheme, while the Joest were pretty boring (ya ya race car, ya ya)
