Default Baltimore/Washington S4 drivers - suspension mods and verdicts please.

Good morning all,
I've had the S for a month now and I am beginning to plan suspension mods. Some of the roads in the Baltimore/Washington area can be unforgiving and since I drive in both cities regularly I thought I'd ask you who drive them daily how you your chosen mods have been treating you and your ride.

The plan is for minimal/no track time, just some "spirited driving", and better overall control without a *significant* reduction in ride quality. I'm looking at the Eibach Pro-Kit/Bilstein road or sport shock combo.

Your feedback is appreciated,

Cheers

Try a 19mm sway bar - no reduction in comfort, reduced understeer & body roll

Default The roads around Philly aren't much better....

I want with the H&R street coilovers. They are a bit firmer but still maintain the overall ride quality of the S. Pitch & Squat are reduced significantly.

Default if you want sport car handling, get a spors car - I am...

You can spent sooo much money on the s4 if you want it to handle like a sports car, its not even funny...

Default get a used NSX if you want "spirited performance"

my '01 S4Avant even chipped , with 19mm sways, neuspeed exhaust, just doesn't have the ability to handle even close to my '93 NSX. I'd go for the coilovers if you want the car for real zippy in/out lane type performance. As much as I love my S4 modifed, when I get in my NSX, it's like driving on rails with flashlight type response . Just don't think the S4 is possible of that kind of handling, especially in the steering aspect. Way to light and dull.Still think the 19mm sway were a great improvement without losing drivablity.
No slam on S4 owners,I love my S4 too.
