Default BBK help!!

Im going to be replacing my brakes pretty soon, but my brake pads are still good and only the front rotors need to be replaced. So i was thinking of replacing the fronts with OEM for now since im still Stage 2 and just wait to upgrade all 4 rotors with a BBK!! My question is whats a good BBK to use for all 4 rotors, the websites i've seen recommend their brand and i would rather here from the tuners that actual use the products!!! any info or feedback is appreiciated. Thanks again in advance.

ps. I plan on going stage 3 in a few months, should i wait until i get the BBK first or can I wait til after im Stage 3??

Steve

Bbk usualy just do fronts, with 6 piston brembos from a cayyane and custom rotors, ecs has 330 and 350, others all play with in those numbers, back breaks you can upgrade to a larger rotor with a bracket, but acutuall rear bbk you lose your ebreak unless you buy an additional caliper and fab a braket, not worth it to do a full rear bbk unless this is a serious track car bc your lookin at almost 2k for front and rears the same esp @ith ebreak adapter, save your money for stage 3 your gona spend alot more then any of the kits your probably looking at or peicing together

Stg3 makes no requirement for going to a BBK. The point of a BBK is to be more resistant to brake fade during continuous hard braking. How you drive the car is what determines what capacity the brakes should have.

Thanks everyone for clearing up this issue. im just going to upgrade my rotors to either slotted or driller or maybe both. Most of the investment will go towards going Stage 3 and trans and diff mods.

Thanks Again Audiworld, love this website!!!

This site is very useful for researching the historical progress of the B5, and issues that arose, but the great majority of users that contributed in the past have moved over to Quattorworld, so that forum has a higher number of long term owners available to pose questions to.
