been playing around with the car, adding timing. Whats a safe level for correction factor?

I prefer to stay 10 or below, but if one or two cylinders get up to 12 I don't really mind much.
Here are the CFs for 2 runs from the other night:

And here is the timing curve for those 2 runs:

62F ambient temp, FATS times of 3.5x and 3.6x

I try to keep CFs down so the timing curve is smoother. When the ECU is forced to correct timing, it pulls more than necessary which reduces power. At the same time, you need a balance between too high of CFs and too low of CFs because too low of CFs means you could be leaving timing on the table in certain spots.
The above is my personal opinion and should not be taken as fact. I learn something new about our ECU everyday so I'm sure someday my opinion will change. Until then, I'm sticking to it.

I've read the same ME7 documentation as I'm sure you have, and I've learnt a lot from reading your logs/analysis.
I just fear reading "playing with the car, adding timing", especially from someone who's relatively new and obviously has a desire to learn more. We've seen what happens with people self-tuning with Lemmi (without mentioning names on certain dynos).

one or 2 spike is okay, just keep them under 10 or so

on the 97ish oct log, i think if i drive it a little bit more let the ecu adapts better i should be able to see lower CF but at least any idea for you!
