Default I would have to go down in turbine size to do that. I would rather keep the power...

up top.

Default What are your octane and displacement values again? Anyway your

car sounds like a total beast! Congrats.

Then you just need some more revs up there so you can stay in it a little more.

Default Also the chart can be misleading...Since its a non DBW car if you feed it throttle down low..

instead of mashing it at 2,000 rpms like the dyno operator did it pulls much harder.

Default She's big. Just fast and loose->That 4600rpm plateau would move on up to over 6krpm with our

motor, *if* the turbine was the same and the comp. housing was the same and the VE was the same. Adjust all of those to move the peak hp rpm up and you get hybrids probably topping out at 450whp(or whatever) at redline for us. ;-)

Roughly speaking.

Default Yeah, thanks for sharing :(

I've been reading and posting on rennlist as of late. I'm really thinking about ditching the S4 modding all together and starting to tinker with the 996tt. The warranty is up now I believe. If it's not up yet, it's up in a couple of months.

Default The 996 will have a better torque curve than my 993.....

the 996 with similar mods has about 100fp adavantage over my car due to 4 valves per and variable cam timing.

That 996tt are a real bargin at the moment.
