I got tired of breaking bones while bike racing. Every other year, I managed to break one. I finally got old and slow enough to give it up. :-(
My first collarbone break was incurred while chasing Lance Armstrong down though. Gives me a karmic connection when I watch him ride in July :-).

My wife, little guy and I did a near 6,000 mile trip in summer of 2000: Phoenix to Chicago, then on to Indy for the 500. From there we drove up the Mississipi, over to MN and across SD to ND for a tour of Mt. Rushmore and the Black Hills. From there we headed south to my old stompin' grounds, Colorado and went all over the Rockies before heading back to Phx.
Only difference, we did all those miles in an Exploder because we were also hauling two dogs and hit a number of off-road trails along the route. : )

Like, no way to reach the shifter. Getting over there with the LEFT hand is pretty much impossible too.

that's what i get for being an outside salesperson and having to cold call in a S4, sometimes when you don't think before you buy a car, this is what happens, oh well i love this car and love to drive it.
