BEST way to seal coilover threads from elements? yes, S'dTFA.
i'm thinking of a coating with anti-seize. but this kinda attracts dirt. so i was gonna follow that up with a coat of <a href="http://www.geocities.com/wallaces_21/waxoyl.html">waxoyl</a> and then some aluminum tape to seal it all in...
thoughts? am i asking for trapping water with the alum. tape and getting some REAL corrosion?

I thought about it but decided to leave them alone
I agree that any coating will only make it a mess later. Before adjusting the ride height, I went to a spray car wash and sprayed them as much as possible. Then I hit them with shop air before trying to turn the nuts. I think someone said they use graphite on theirs.

Griot's sells a ceramic based anti-sieze paste that I've been recommending for years.
It's not messy like typical metal based anti-sieze paste. When it dries out, it leaves a chalky residue behind that seems to do the job adequately. The only issue is that it will wash away over the course of a year, so you really need to get back in there to re-treat it. Obviously the best way is to take everything apart, which is a PITA. Metal based anti-sieze pastes don't really wash away, but as you pointed out, they attract a lot of grit and grime (which this paste won't do).
