Is it better to run slightly thicker oil during summer?

Possibly because higher ambient temperatures mean the oil in a cold engine is more likely to drain and settle in the lowest parts of the system if the oil weight is very fine.
I guess this would theoretically cause greater engine wear at startup since the moving parts would be "more free" of oil.
That's my shot...anyone else?????

There is a flip side to this in that thinner oil redistributes to the engine faster.
