I believe Porsche brake rotors have the holes cast in them.

Default yes but your car weighs something like 1000lbs less than an S4 and...

has comparable stopping distances (according to R&T) so the S4 brakes work ALOT harder than a boxster. On our 2000lb racing Civic, we go through front rotors about every 10 hours and they're not drilled.
