Between Bosch EV6 39# injectors flowing 493CC @ 4 bar and Bosch blue tops flowing 488CC @ 5 bar,
which one would you say is better if you are trying to match RS4 injectors which flow 481CC @ 4 bar. Obviously the blue tops are a bit closer as far as the flow rate is concerned but when you throw in spray pattern, which one would give you the best idle/driveability. Keep in mind I am trying to use these on a software that calls for RS4 injectors. Also if there are other choices that you have tested and work just as well or better than what I have mentioned, let me know, so I can look into them.
P.S. I am open to using RS4 injectors if I can pick them up cheap.

No, I don't. I'd go bluetops since I'm familiar with them. Use an adjustable FPR and shoot for 481?
Log your car at WOT (02 voltages) and watch your long term fuel trims (block 032) to dial your fueling in where you want it. You could always use Lemmiwinks to adjust the fueling as well.

from what I've read/been told, delphi 42# injectors may be the ticket.
They have a spray pattern much closer to the RS4's, and at 4 bar, they only flow ~5.6% more fuel, which is a reasonable amount to correct via lemmi. To get stage V software are they making you buy the thicker headgaskets?

I've seen Piggie test a bluetop, greentop, RS4, delphi, etc, etc, etc, and they all looked fine.
Obviously, RS4 was designed for our engines so it is probably better. Still, I think people get a little carried away with spray pattern here after seeing them all and discussing it with Piggie.

Yes, going with the stage 5. I think I got around the whole headgasket thing but I don't want to
yell it out untill it's all said and done. I am actually sending my stage 3 chip out to them today so they can replace it with the stage 5.
