Default They work/focus perfectly on the S4. You do have to tilt them the 13deg(in the RS4 study guide) but

they focus on the perpendicular line of all three valves when installed correctly. The angles are "almost" the exact same on the RS4 install, the only diff is the S4 runner placement is ~.5" higher iirc.

Default do the MTM/APR injector adaptors have this 13 degree angle built in, or is this something you have

to customize?

Default That pic raises some questions.

It includes the exhaust manifolds, which have been dropped from the StgV kit, but no head gaskets. There used to be a pic on Hoppen's website but now stage V is not even on the price list. The stage IV kit pushes the stock maf to it's limit, so adding boost will make the stock maf useless past around 5000 rpm. With that in mind there at least has to be a bigger maf housing and I don't see a maf or housing in that pic.
If you are doubtful of the maf required for stage V, vast's website lists the MTM kit as one of the kit that uses the rs4 element. I'm sure piggy knows more than me, you can e-mail him to be sure.

Default I think they changed it. I agree with you that it used to have the RS4 maf, but I think the kit has

been changed. I'm not positive, but I believe that to be the case.

Default They do not. I misspoke - the RS4 injectors have an offset(axial) spray pattern that is 2x conical

and at an offset(rotational) of 13deg from the plug on the injector. You have to rotate them 13deg from straight install(like the stockers) to have them focused correctly. On the #1 cyl that is pretty much the only way you'll get it to fit, mani runner interferes with the plug/socket.

I test fitted all my stuff a few mos before installing them and if you straightline the injectors the "cones" land at the top(center cyl portion) of the outer intake valves(with my spacers which add 4-5mm height). They do not land directly on the stem but they do hit right at the openings on the outers. I think thats pretty ideal compared to some of the other stuff out there. Without my spacers its pretty damn close to perfect.

There are other injectors that have come along now that seem to be as good or better for less $$$. The Delphis and Siemens seem to have some good results... I'm sure there are others as well. See if you can find the RS4 study guide on the intake(think its page 22) or I can send that to you. Shows what I'm referring to:
<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/3027/rs4_injector_position.jpg">

And here's mine before fitting/porting last summer:
<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/3027/mani_porting.jpg">

The injectors sit deep in the S4 mani runners, can barely see the red center on them. It would be hard to sustain ~450chp(S4) or 490chp(RS4) on these injectors if you had significant runner wash.

Default gotcha. Would it be appropriate to rotate injectors like the delphis which have a similar spray

pattern like you did with the rs4's?

Default Sure, do whatever you can to get the spray pattern aligned with the valve line.

I havent seen any Delphis up close, just make sure you can get the tips seated correctly and hopefully the body/plug/socket will allow enough room to place them correctly on the rotational axis.

Default Heh, I'll try to help =-) Kinda sucks to have a Stg3 done, nothing left to tinker with.

I do plan on getting these solid tranny mounts out, those were a mistake. Need to pester the neighbor for lift time again.
