Default So you must know that the car did not run 11's, since you linked to the KTR page that pretty much

acknowledges that.

Yes the car has awesome power
Yes the car was spinning for most of the track
Yes it broke a bunch of stuff
No, it did not run 11's

That day out was the last day Epping was open for season and has not reopened for this year yet. Should be awesome to see them out with that car this year to see what it's capable of!

" We have reviewed the time slip and video and agree that the New England Dragway timing equipment for our run was not functioning correctly"

I can't seem to find the timeslip, but it shows that it took 12.x seconds just to get to the 1000' mark, so the 1/4 time was obviously wrong (since it had to go back in time for that to be true)

PS, the vid shows 11.4@108, which the mph was likely true, but not the ET<ul><li><a href="http://www.ktrperformance.com/gallery/Project_Cars/KTR_S4/drag_timing.htm">http://www.ktrperformance.com/gallery/Project_Cars/KTR_S4/drag_timing.htm</a</li></ul>

Default The real question is why do they have that ghey ricer wing on the back? That's not going to help

keep it straight like a rear drag spoiler would. That's just going to slow them down.

Default Did not know they felt the run was slower when I spoke to Scott..

Maybe something changed since I spoke to him or I misunderstood him? I am calling today to confirm a dyno day with 5 cars for next friday. I will ask him and post.

Don't need anything other than stock turbo's for that, with some minor additions

Default The car is powerful,, it just didn't run 11's that day due to broken parts and traction

<a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/s4/msgs/1436794.phtml">Here's Guy@KTR's response noting the obviously wrong timing</a>

Here's all the broken parts from the run(s):
<a href="http://www.ktrperformance.com/gallery/Project_Cars/KTR_S4/s4_dragstrip.htm" target="_blank">http://www.ktrperformance.com/gallery/Project_Cars/KTR_S4/s4_dragstrip.htm</a>

<img src="http://www.ktrperformance.com/gallery/Project_Cars/KTR_S4/DragStrip/axles_00.jpg">

They attempted to make two passes. The first one was the video pass. The thought is that the front drive shafts broke then, putting all the power to the rear wheels, spinning wildly side to side at the end of the run. On the next attempt, the rear broke and that was the end of it.

The car is surely making the power and I can't wait to see it out this year to see what it can really do.
